Fairytale Land of the Taiga
This trip will take you through the northern territory of Mongolian landscapes, Khuvsgul province which takes you beautiful landscapes, trees, lakes, falls and more over high mountains and most green areas of Mongolia. Basically, the Mongolian nation, including Khalkha, Darkhad, Khotgoid, and Uriankhai, predominate. We will spend more time in nature with nomadic people instead of driving long journeys on the road. Murun is the capital of the province which is interesting to have a town tour around.
50×100 complex: It is an intersection of 50 and 100 degrees of longitude and latitude in Erkhel valley in the territory of Alag-Erdene soum of Khuvsgul aimag.
The new complex with monuments and outdoor theatre was built by local companies. There are only four points on Earth where 50 and 100 degrees of longitude and latitude intersect, two of which are not possible for humans to stand, in the Pacific and Indian oceans and two are found on land. One of the latter is located on the highway in Canada which is still not possible to walk on that area perhaps the other one is found in Khuvsgul aimag of Mongolia where you can freely walk around. The crossing point in Erkhel valley of Alag-Erdene soum is the most accessible one. With the commencement of the complex, it is now possible for tourists to visit the site and spend time in comfortable conditions.
Bayanzurkh soum: it’s located 127 km from Murun to the north west 798 km from the Ulaanbaatar city. The town has the most attractive places around it and to explore the areas required hiking, driving, and horse riding: Beltes river, Boshloi khad, Senj Khad, Suurit bulan, Ushiriin Khurkhree (fall). Jaragiin havtsal (gorge) etc.,
Deer Stone: The name comes from their carved depictions of flying deer. Deer stones are unique monuments dating to the Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age that are found mostly in Mongolia and in some Central Asia. Through this trip you will see one of them. Many of them has different carvings such as A deer, an arch, a shield, a horse, a knife, the moon, the sun and a mirror figured belt were engraved on the stones.
Khuvsgul Lake: the Blue pearl, sister lake of Baikal. Khuvsgul Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Mongolia when it relates to volume, and second largest by area. The two lakes connect through the Eg and Selenge rivers. Eg is the only outflow of Khuvsgul Lake, and at the same time, it is a tributary of Selenge, which flows into the Baikal Lake. Khuvsgul holds almost 70% of Mongolian fresh water reserves and its water is drinkable without any treatment.

Notes
Please bring extra comfortable shoes, pants and socks, some places would be requiring light hiking. You may bring your snacks during the trip because it will take a long journey on the road. Please bring enough tugrik /mnt/ for local food/snacks (perhaps your alcoholic drinks), souvenirs or other purchases since there would be no money exchanges in local provinces and during the trips). It would be advisable /optional/ to bring with you some extra candies or sweets, perhaps if we visit some nomad family or gathered by children in a remote area and give them, would make them happy as well as make your trip more exciting ☺. (for Mongolians it is kind of an unwritten custom when traveling to the countryside or visiting nomads). This tour is not recommended for children below six years of age due to the long drive and involves some walking.Itinerary
